The reason why so many black suspects are getting shot and killed by the police is because of disobedience. They do not obey police commands. The entire Black Lives Matter movement (with which we are NOT AFFILIATED in any way) is also disobedience - and it is disobedience which is going to get people killed.  We need to address what police are suppossed to do, and what they are allowed to do when they issue a command to a citizen, and when the citizen disobeys. George Floyd resisted arrest and that got him killed. It shouldn't have gotten him killed, of course, and we have already called for the prosecution of all 4 police officers involvved in that murder for 1st degree murder, but it is a fact that Floyd refused to get into the police car when ordered to. He became physically violent and fought, although handcuffed, with officers physically refusing to allow them to put him into the police car. That, and a corrupt system of justice that has not punished murderous police officers and which gives police far too many powers over citizens, got George Floyd killed. Michael Brown was killed when he disobeyed a police command to stop. The list is endless. Almost all police killings are in response to a suspect who does not obey their commands. So, what are the police suppossed to do when a suspect disobeys the police? There is a REAL problem of disobedience in the USA. Likewise the Black Lives Matter protesters, violating the law during a respiratory illness pandemic that is killing black men at far higher rates than women or black women (the lesbians and queers don't care about straight men) are going to kill many men, including black men, because of their disrespect for the laws on social distancing. Because they do not obey the law. We call on them to be punished with mandatory jail time, and the looters, destroyers of property, and even worse, arsonists, should also receive manadatory jail time. There is NEVER any excuse for destruction of property, looting and arson. Never. Weak politicians who do not punish these radicals should not be re-elected and should be removed from office for dereliction of duty as soon as possible. Let's reform the corrupt judiciary, (vote for the Legal Reform Amendment - the LRA), have a civilized discussion about what powers the police have to respond to disobedience, and regulate what the police may and may not do in cases of disobedience. We have already advocated the use of tranquilizer pistols by police to use in cases of disobedience. Make your voice heard. What do you think the police should do when suspects disobey?
